Michelle Li is a pianist and teacher based in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her BHA with emphases in piano performance and psychology and her certificate in piano pedagogy from Carnegie Mellon University and holds an MM in piano pedagogy from Georgia State University. Since earning her Dalcroze certificate, she has taught at Interlochen Arts Camp, the Reinhardt Piano Festival, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s VIVO Summer Strings Institute, and STEP Birmingham’s chamber music workshop. When she isn’t at the piano or prancing across the Dalcroze classroom, she moonlights as an author of speculative fiction whose work has earned rave reviews from the New York Times Review of Books, Washington Post, Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, Lit Hub, and many others. In her spare time, she copyedits and proofreads for major publishers. She also serves on the Dalcroze Society of America’s publications committee.
